Microsoft developed a 'smart' bra

It's no longer enough to have smartphones, smartwatches, smart TVs and smart cars. Now a tech company is bringing artificial intelligence to lingerie.

 

Researchers at Microsoft have developed a prototype of a "smart bra" embedded with physiological sensors that seek to monitor a woman's heart activity to track her emotional moods and combat overeating. The sensors can signal the wearer's smartphone, which then flash a warning message to help her step away from the fridge and make better diet decisions.

 

The company says it has no plans to make the bra into a commercial product, however.

 

 

Apple's Black Friday special: Gift cards

Black Friday and Cyber Monday is coming. I like these two days so much, because many things will has discount, we can save a lot of money.
Usually, I will sleep early on Thurday and get up early on Friday. Every year, this is not normal Friday, this is Black Friday. I love Black Friday.




It's a recent Thanksgiving custom as traditional as turkey, stuffing or collapsing on the couch while watching NFL football: the Apple Store's annual announcement of Black Friday discounts.

Except that this year, there aren't any, exactly.

 

Instead of marking down prices on Macs or iPads, Apple is giving out Apple Store gift cards to purchasers of various products. The cards are worth an estimated 10-15% of the price for certain Apple devices, and more for accessories.

 

Online and in its North American retail stores, Apple was offering gift cards of up to $150 for the purchase of a Mac, up to $75 for an iPad and up to $50 for an iPod. No gift cards were being offered for iPhones or the new iPad Mini, which went on sale earlier this month.

In its European stores, Apple was offering modest discounts on products instead of gift cards.

Online sales in the United States began after midnight Pacific time on Friday. Many brick-and-mortar Apple Stores opened at 6 a.m.

 

Some of Apple's competitors are sticking with more traditional Black Friday discounts. A number of items at the Microsoft Store are on sale, and the Sony Store also has a number of Black Friday deals.

Last year the Apple Store offered discounts of about 10% for expensive items and up to 40% for cheaper products.

Amazon says drone deliveries are the future

Almost females like shopping also online shopping. It's very convenience, and good for lazy people.

Amazon is considering a future system that uses unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones, to deliver packages.

 

The online mega-retailer unveiled plans on Sunday for a new delivery service called Prime Air, which uses unmanned aerial vehicles -- or drones -- that look like toy helicopters.

The "octocopters" aren't ready to take flight yet. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos said in an interview on 60 Minutes that the drones would be ready to take flight in four to five years. But an Amazon spokesperson pointed to an updated post on the company's website promising aerial deliveries as soon as federal rules change.
Those FAA rules could come as soon as 2015. The type of flights Bezos proposed are currently not allowed. Unlike some other drones currently used, these would be autonomous -- they would fly without a pilot.

 

2 million Facebook, Gmail and Twitter passwords stolen in massive hack

Hackers have stolen usernames and passwords for nearly two million accounts at Facebook, Google, Twitter, Yahoo and others, according to a report released this week.

The massive data breach was a result of keylogging software maliciously installed on an untold number of computers around the world, researchers at cybersecurity firm Trustwave said. The virus was capturing log-in credentials for key websites over the past month and sending those usernames and passwords to a server controlled by the hackers.

Actor Paul Walker, who shot to fame as star of the high-octane street racing franchise "Fast & Furious," died in a fiery car crash in Southern California on Saturday. He was 40.

Walker was in the passenger seat of a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, driven by a racing team partner, that slammed into a light pole and burst into flames in an office park in the community of Valencia in Santa Clarita, about 30 miles north of Hollywood.

On this day, people will have activities to celebrate the birth of PLA, such as gratitude performance. 5. The battery life of the iPhone 5S is “even better than that of the iPhone 5".

It survives 10 hours of constant Wi-Fi browsing, and a whopping 250 hours on standby.

4. Apple have made serious upgrades on the iPhone 5S's camera. The flash now has two LEDs — one white, and one amber.

1. The Overall Look

As soon as iOS 7 launches on your device, you'll notice a huge change. So much is different, from the colors and font to how it feels as you swipe through pages and open apps. It's cleaner, sleeker and just about every nook and cranny in the whole house has been renovated.

2. The Control Center

It might be tricky to find at first, but Apple's new Control Center makes life so much easier. This is a new generation of the smart phone for our live. By myself, i think the smartphone change our lifes a big way. Usually, we use phone just to contact the people and it is heavy and hard to carry. But the smartphone changed it a lot such as Iphone. Now we use phone not only to contact with people but also have a lot of fun with the smartphone. For example, we can download a lot of interesting game or check the stock and email whenever you want. This is so useful and meaningful to me. With the new generation smartphone come, the phone is getting better and better. The beautiful overview and the faster processor will make you get a totally different feeling of the old phone. In current society, media is really important in our lives. It is useful everywhere in our life. The people use the computer or phone to read the book, check their email, get news from internet and listen the music and so on. This is the real impact of our lives. So for my own opinion, i think the media will get more and more effective in the world and it will change and bring a lot of to the people. And i am the people that like to try something new. So i think i will get the new Iphone as soon as possible ang to see what is the different of the old one. This is really funny when your life always full of feeling of freshness.
